Verse - Agression (2008)

Probably one of the best Hardcore albums i've listened too. Unfortunalty this band called it quits back in '09, this was their final release.

While She Sleeps - The North Stands For Nothing (2010)

Haven't been able to make a post recently as I've had exams and such.

Although metalcore is getting shitter and shitter year by year, bands like While She Sleeps keep me interested. Sorry kiddies, very, very minimal breakdowns and bassdrops.

Lower Than Atlantas - Far Q (2010)

Another UK band this week. This album is insanely unique. It's hard to tell whether you are listening to Melodic Hardcore, Indie or even Alt Rock at times. Floor tom bashing alternates to a sweet riff with a clean vocals in a matter of seconds. Check it out.

Heights - The Land, The Distance, The Ocean (2009)

 I was introduced to these guys at a show recently (small skate shop in castle hill). Originally contemplating whether to go or stay for the whole show, we chose to stay. Oh, was I happy we stuck around. I couldn't really tell you what genre this EP falls into; it combines elements of a progressive-style of hardcore, metalcore and even a hint of post-hardcore. It really seems it's own brand of music.
Definitely one for every to check out, as it can be downloaded free from their website.
